Dear Mr,
We hereby inform you about changes to the General Terms and Conditions (GT&C’s) for the Advanzia Deposit Account with effect from 01 June 2019 as well as the protection of your deposits in accordance with the law of 18 December 2015.
Overview on the - changes to the GT&C’s:

Preamble:
Clarification of domicile and alignment with the rule in paragraph 1 (keeping accounts) regarding the reference account, from which and on which the transfers are made: The customer must be domiciled in the EU or EFTA.

Banking secrecy (Clause 10):
o
Clarification regarding the outsourcing of services.
o
Advanzia Bank outsources its processing of Deposit accounts to certain specialized third party providers ("addressees"). This concerns the call center, printing and scanning services.
o
The outsourcing takes place within the European Union.
o
The transfer of data takes place only on the basis of the need-to-know principle (knowledge only when needed). The addressees of the bank must adhere to the same strict security and technology standards, in particular with regard to confidentiality.

Applicable Law, Place of Jurisdiction (Clause 16):
o
The General Terms and Conditions of the Deposit accounts are subject to Luxembourgish law. However, this does not affect consumer protection, which may be granted to the customer by the mandatory laws of the country of his residence country.

As per clause 15 of our General Terms and Conditions, your acceptance of the changes will be deemed to have been granted if you fail to notify us by 31 May 2019. If you do not agree with the contract amendments, you can terminate your contract free of charge and without notice until 31 May 2019.
